If you are attempting to create a 9i database using dbca, and it unexpectedly quits like so:
[oracle@x7000 oracle]$ dbca
/u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0/bin/dbca: line 124: 10164 Killed $JRE_DIR/bin/jre
      -DORACLE_HOME=$OH -DJDBC_PROTOCOL=thin -mx64m
      -classpath $CLASSPATH oracle.sysman.assistants.dbca.Dbca $ARGUMENTS

[oracle@x7000 oracle]$ dbca
/u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0/bin/dbca: line 124: 14707 Killed $JRE_DIR/bin/jre
      -DORACLE_HOME=$OH -DJDBC_PROTOCOL=thin -mx64m
      -classpath $CLASSPATH oracle.sysman.assistants.dbca.Dbca $ARGUMENTS
[oracle@x7000 oracle]$
You should be able to fix it with the following:
[oracle@x7000 oracle]$ echo $THREADS_FLAG

[oracle@x7000 oracle]$ export THREADS_FLAG=native
[oracle@x7000 oracle]$ echo $THREADS_FLAG
native
[oracle@x7000 oracle]$
If that still does not do the trick, try applying patch 3238244 or upgrade the database software to a more recent point release such as 9.2.0.6.0 which already includes that patch.
